Since the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, it has been generally accepted that an electric motor's

acceleration often considerably exceeds that of a traditional internal combustion engine.

Owners have begun bringing their electric vehicles to the drag track as a result. A Tesla Model S Plaid

a Ford Mustang GT and a Nissan GTR in a recent video posted to the Drag Racing and Car Stuff YouTube channel.

The Tesla Model S Plaid, which was unveiled in January 2021, was a redesign for the popular Model S series.

The family vehicle's 1,020 horsepower is generated by three motors, and it accelerates the Plaid from 0 to 60 mph in in 2.1 seconds.

A Ford Mustang GT is the second vehicle that we spot. This vehicle has a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 450 hp. 

A drag strip's regulars include the Mustang because of its svelte aerodynamics, potent V8 engine, and reputation as a muscle vehicle.

The Nissan GTR is the third and last vehicle. One of the fastest-accelerating vehicles currently being produced.

The GTR's year and variation are unclear, however even the standard model from 2007 has a 3.8-liter
