After a long 12-year slumber in its glory, General Motors this year introduced

the third generation Chevrolet Colorado to meet the urgent need for a new Colorado in the market.

So after waiting eight years for his 2023 Colorado

GMC released the second-generation Canyon just two weeks after he launched it.

The Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are both important names in his GM

both have performed well since their inception.

Both pickups come with redesigned looks, new engines, luxurious interiors and upgraded convenience packages.

The biggest change this year is the omission of the previous engine.

All Colorado and Canyon models are powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine

The question remains: Why did GM do away with the previous engine and allow 2.7-liter turbos in all Colorado and Canyon models?

The flagship Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and all his GMC Canyon models are powered by his powerful 2.7-liter engine that produces up to 430 lb-ft of torque.

However, the new Colorado and Canyon engines offer better power and performance, with better fuel efficiency and reliability due to easier parts availability.
