If you want a new Mazda CX-9, then make haste. This three-row SUV could be discontinued for the larger Mazda CX-90 model

The 2023 Mazda CX-9 is returning for another year, and you don’t want to miss out, even if it did just get more expensive. 

The 2023 Mazda CX-9 price starts at $40,025, which is $3,120 over the outgoing model.

The price jumped up because the entry-level Sport trim was just discontinued, so the CX-9 Touring is the new standard model.

This price includes the $1,275 destination charge.

But that means the CX-9 can only seat up to six occupants instead of seven. 

the Touring trim now comes standard with LED foglights, a wireless phone charging pad, and a power moonroof.

The CX-9 Touring Plus trim actually costs $510 less than the outgoing model and starts at $42,775.

According to Cars.com, it’s the only model that decreased in price. The Carbon Edition costs $850 more.

Last but not least, the top-spec Signature model gained a $900 increase and starts at $49,735.

Premium paint colors like Soul Red Crystal Metallic hike the cost to $50,000.
