I've spoken to a reliable source and have looked into
one of
the sources and it shows
how much power the
latest additions
the Hellcat
range make
when running
on
E85 fuel. I decided to ask
directly, "How many horsepower does
this E85 Hellcat
make?"
took a step back
at this point,
but thought
the avoidance was
a little
less predictable
When
the Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat debuted in
his
2015
the
big news was that he had
707 horsepower
figures. everyone knows
Then came the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
808hp
pump gas
(840hp
100+ octane race gas)
followed by the Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye models and their
797-807hp variants.
I
typed "909?" thinking it counted too. The
source replied
"Bingo".
Of course,
don't
take
that
number as fact until Dodge//SRT
has
officially
released
the car.
Given Dodge's
history and the fact that they want to
say
a proper goodbye
to the Hellcat
this
makes sense.Of
course, like all of you, I personally
want
that
magical
1,000
horsepower.
've
heard from
several
sources in the past that engineers were
aiming for
that
figure,
but it
doesn't seem
to
have been the intention.
