International Trade Commission (ITC)
says 2020 and newer Roxar models do
not violate
his FCA's
Jeep Wrangler
SUV "trade dress", design changes by Mahindra constitute earlier omissions
accepted his October recommendation of
an administrative
judge.
The injunction does
not apply to newer models.
The
ruling
supports Mahindra's
redesign of the highly popular Roxor
SUV
Mahindra said in a statement.
"Mahindra
is now
licensed
to manufacture and
sell
the redesigned 2021
Roxar
Mahindra said
it refreshed and changed
the 2020 model to avoid the
problem
but
at the time
the commission
asked
whether the
new
model and
later
versions
violated Jeep's
trade dress.
Roxor is assembled in the Auburn Hills north of Detroit.
