General Motors President Mark Reuss recently made a presentation at 2022 GM Investor Day.

There's a lot to learn from this big day, but the key data point is that General Motors could boost overall sales in the Truck Wars.

Ford will piss off his motor company. And the lineup of the announced F series.

Update major ICE vehicles during the transition (to electrification).

To illustrate the demand for his ICE portfolio in our company, here are some numbers through the third quarter," he said.

"GM's retail market share is up 0.7 percentage points year-over-year.

Additionally, GM's retail market share will grow in an ICE-dominated segment that already ranks

all other OEMs based on JD Power's pin calendar year to date through Q3 2022

The prediction means Ford could end his Super Duty's long reign as the best-selling commercial light truck in the United States.

A title that Chevrolet has long pursued. The same could happen to his F-150 in Halftone his truck market.

Combined, though, his two strategies GM is pursuing with its Chevrolet Silverado and his GMC Sierra truck tend to tip the scales of the Detroit-based automaker.

A General Motors executive says his high-capacity, high-margin trucks with both petrol and diesel engines and his SUV are funding an all-electric vehicle program in development

I didn't hesitate. And that won't change anytime soon.

That being said, the final scores are yet to be tallied and Ford's buzzer-beater may be needed to retain the championship.
