The owner of the two contemporary muscle vehicles was curious about which was faster.

The Dodge Demon and Shelby Super Snake adapted for a Mustang are strong competitors

For instance, the Demon has a clear edge on a quarter-mile track since it can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds.

The quicker Super Snakes, on the other hand, accomplish that task in 3.5 seconds, but they have enough of extra horsepower

However, the YouTube channel Throttle House asked the topic in a video posted on Sunday about how these two cars

A Mustang GT500 has about 750 horsepower, but with the Shelby Touch,

it has 825 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque available at the rear wheels.

This competition's Dodge Demon produces around 808 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque.

The Super Snake costs over $161,000, while the Demon is close to $85,000. These supercharged V8 variants are very expensive.

The owner of the automobiles apparently didn't care about the cost since he rented them

The Throttle House hosts, meanwhile, made a few adjustments of their own, decreasing the tyre pressure to increase traction.

The first race started from a standing position, which often favours the Demon.
