Check Out Rivian's Mobile Service Vehicles, Including R1T And Van

Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe shares video showing the company's growing mobile EV service fleet.

Rivian has to significantly improve its service offering as it ramps up manufacturing of the R1T, R1S, and EDV.

Similar to other EV startups, such as Tesla, Rivian offers a variety of ways to maintain the cars it has sold across the nation,

including traditional service centres, mobile service vehicles that can travel to the owner's location,

and over-the-air (OTA) software updates, depending on the needs of the vehicle.

In the most recent video he shared on Twitter, Rivian founder and CEO RJ Scaringe gives a glimpse at the business's new electric vehicle servicing fleet.

The video, which was filmed in the Costa Mesa, California, service centre,

shows a small fleet of R1T and EDV service cars that are fully equipped with the equipment required to fix Rivian EVs.

RJ introduces viewers to Phil, who is the most fitting person to talk about Rivian's service vehicles as he led the development team behind them.

He starts with the Rivian van, and it's interesting to see it with a different paint scheme than the one used by Amazon.

The Electric Delivery Van fulfils the role of the perfect service vehicle as promised.

It has plenty of room for all types of diagnostic and repair instruments, including wheel and tyre equipment and a crane that allows workers to transfer large objects into and out of the van.

The EDV also features a floor compartment and a swing-out platform for the jack,
