The Toyota Highlander Hybrid, with which we have just begun our week, is comparable to the Toyota Sienna.

This prompted some concerns because the Highlander feels like the Sienna after a three-hour trip.

The Toyota Sienna comes to mind as a result of our beginning with the Toyota Highlander.

All of these family cars have three rows, and the Highlander resembles the offspring of a Sienna and a Subaru Ascent

However, the Highlander and Sienna are comparable in terms of sides and hood form.

Additionally, both of them have hybrid powertrains and are available with all-wheel drive.

We'll decide whether one is superior when we've driven the Highlander for a bit longer.

The starting price of the hybrid Toyota Sienna from 2023 is $35,385.

The starting price for the Highlander with the 2.4-liter engine is around $36,420.

The 2022 Toyota Sienna sports a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 245 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque

when combined with two electric motors. It can reach 60 mph from 0 in around 7.8 seconds.

A 2.5-liter engine and two electric motors are also used in the 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid to provide 243 hp

Edmunds estimates that it takes 8.2 seconds, though. We didn't think it moved so slowly.

The Highlander can tow up to 5,000 lb and the Sienna up to 3,500 lb when properly equipped.
