Cost-wise, the GR Corolla is most likely comparable to the Type R.
In the US, we might be entering a second golden era for hot hatchbacks, if not a silver one.
One is that the Honda Civic Type R will return in 2023.
But that does provide a dilemma for fans of hot hatchbacks: which model should they think about purchasing?
Toyota is at least bringing its drivetrain here, despite the fact that the GR Yaris will continue to be off-limits
The hottest Yaris shares a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine and GT-Four AWD technology
And, much like its tiny sister, it only has a six-speed manual transmission.
Unfortunately, Honda hasn't yet disclosed the horsepower or torque figures for the 2023 Civic Type R.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, like the one in its predecessor, hasn't been disclosed.
However, it's reasonable to infer that the upcoming model will be more potent than the present one.
